James Gillespie's High School is situated in the heart of the City of Edinburgh, Scotland. We are a modern multicultural comprehensive High School, educating pupils aged 11 to 18 years of age. We recently celebrated our 200th. anniversary and our campus enjoys a wonderful mix of ancient and modern architecture. We hope that you enjoy our website.

Summer Break
School will end for the Summer Break at 12.00 noon on Thursday 1st July 2010.
Staff will return on Monday 16 August 2010.
Pupils return on Thursday 19th August 2010.
Pupils are reminded that from August they should go directly to their Period 1 class at 8.40 - there is no morning registration period.
